Meet our little rescue — a juvenile mudskipper (Periophthalmus species) looking for a forever home. Amphibious and full of attitude, this brackish-dwelling fish thrives in shoreline-style setups with access to both land and water.

This mudskipper was rehomed into our care and has recovered well. He’s active, curious, and full of personality. Raised on a mix of live foods, he’s used to being hand-fed and watching the world from his perch.

Care Requirements:

         Tank Type: Paludarium or brackish setup

• Min Size: 20 gallons with land access

• Water: Brackish (SG 1.005–1.015. kept at 1.008)

• Temperature: 75–82°F (24–28°C)

• Feeding: Live/frozen insects, bloodworms, blackworms, pellets

• Temperament: Semi-aggressive, best kept solo or with caution
